There are three steps to access the stored bits of the Irwin Tools IRW1948774
Pull out the shaft: Pull the metal bit holder/shaft straight out from the front of the ratcheting handle.
Remove the bits: The double-ended bits and insert bits fit snugly inside or along the shaft assembly.
Swap or replace: Pull the desired bit directly out of the holder slots by hand.
