Yes, this is the vertical-tank version. Although the product photo can make it look like a horizontal-style switch, Lippert 359064 (Power Gear 14-1136) is specifically designed for Power Gear vertical metal hydraulic tanks. It uses a flapper-style float that moves with the fluid level.
If your original sensor has a different physical configuration, please send us a photo of the existing switch/connection or the Power Gear part number from it and we'll do our best to confirm the exact replacement.
