Yes. The Moeller 033500-36 fuel pickup tube can be trimmed to the required length to suit a shallower fuel tank. It is supplied at 36" so it can accommodate different tank depths. Moeller lists it as a 36" pickup, and users of the same Moeller pickup design report cutting the tube to match their tank depth.
For installation, the tube should be cut so the pickup end sits near the bottom of the tank without resting directly on the bottom, allowing fuel to flow freely.
