The hub is pre-greased with a lithium complex multi-purpose wheel bearing grease. It is not pre-packed with a blue/green calcium-based marine grease. While the grease is similar in type to red lithium complex products such as Lucas Red 'N' Tacky, the manufacturer does not specify or guarantee a particular retail brand. If you need to top it up or repack in the future, use a quality lithium complex wheel bearing grease to ensure compatibility.
