Yes, in many cases the Carefree R001643BLK is the recommended replacement for discontinued Altitude idler-side arms, but it is not a universal replacement for every Altitude awning.
The CAFR001643BLK is:
- Left-hand (idler side) arm assembly
- For Carefree Travel'r electric patio awnings
- 8' extension
- Adjustable pitch
- Black
- Designed for straight-wall coaches
Carefree has discontinued many of the original Altitude arm assemblies, and depending on the original part number, they have superseded them with the newer Travel'r arm assemblies. However, compatibility depends on the original arm configuration and mounting style, not simply the awning name.
