Thanks for your inquiry! The TrailFX J021T roof rack is rated for 300 lbs, however TrailFX does not specify whether this is a static or dynamic capacity in their published specifications.
Because the manufacturer doesn't distinguish between static and dynamic load ratings, we cannot recommend using 300 lbs as a static (parked) rooftop tent rating. If your intended use is a rooftop tent or other static load application, we'd recommend contacting TrailFX directly for confirmation before purchasing.
Worth adding, the true capacity may be limited by the vehicle make and model, determined by the manufacturer. We'd recommend consulting your vehicle owner manual for roof weight capacity.
