The Demco 8705001 mounts to a 3" trailer tongue using two 1/2" x 4-1/2" Grade 5 mounting bolts. We do not currently have a manufacturer specification confirming a 6" center-to-center mounting hole spacing. If you need the exact dimension, we can verify it from a Demco engineering drawing or measure a unit in stock, here are details made available direct from Demco:
DISC brake actuator for use in marine applications. Zinc plated. 7000 lb. G.V.W.R. maximum rating. 700 lb. tongue load, limited to coupler rating. Mounts on 3” tongue with 2 – 1/2” x 4-1/2” grade 5 bolts. EZ Latch coupler design. Reverse solenoid and cover included. **Solenoid requires power from back-up lights on tow vehicle**
