Yes. The ICON WT2463 / Part #12727 tank is designed so it can be installed in different orientations. The manufacturer specifically notes that the optional fittings are preinstalled for convenience of use in either orientation.
For this tank, the overall dimensions are 36" × 15" × 13". Depending on how you orient it, the 15" and 13" dimensions can be swapped, provided:
- The 36" dimension remains the length.
- You have adequate clearance for the filler connection and plumbing fittings.
- The fitting locations still work for your intended inlet, outlet, and vent routing.
