Yes — the 1,000 lb rating is per spring. So if your trailer uses a pair of these springs on one axle, the combined spring capacity would be approximately 2,000 lbs total.
Keep in mind:
- Trailer leaf springs are normally rated individually
- A single axle typically uses 2 springs (left and right)
- The actual axle/trailer capacity is still limited by the lowest-rated component (axle, tires, hubs, frame, etc.)
