From what we've found, the Suburban P-40 furnace is primarily designed as a ducted park model furnace, and based on the available manufacturer information, it is not advertised as being pre-configured or “A-coil ready” for an integrated air conditioning evaporator coil installation.
The unit does support ducted airflow systems, so in some custom HVAC applications an A-coil may potentially be added externally by an HVAC technician, but this would be considered a custom modification rather than a factory-supported feature. We would recommend confirming:
- Available plenum space
- Airflow/static pressure requirements
- Coil dimensions and compatibility
- Whether the installer plans to use a separate AC air handler
For best results, we suggest consulting a licensed HVAC/RV technician before attempting an A-coil installation
