While Draw-Tite does not explicitly state that their Class 3/4 hitches are incompatible with vertical bike racks, as Curt does, they remain equally vulnerable to potential damage. The added leverage from top-heavy bike racks can strain the receiver, possibly leading to bending or even tearing of the hitch.
