That would depend on the hitch and what the trucks were equipped with.
If your hitch had standard legs that mounted to rails on your 2019 Chev 3500, and you would like to mount that same hitch to a 2023 Chev 3500 with puck system (hitch prep package), you can go with the Curt 16027 adapter, or possibly swap the legs to do without an adapter.
If your hitch has OE legs that mounted to a puck system on the 2019 Chev 3500, then you'll want to swap the legs on the hitch so they're suitable for the newer puck system on current Chev trucks, like the 16024, 16029 and 16030 OE legs, depending on which 5th wheel hitch you have.
