Depending on your setup, while reviewing the start guide which we've attached here, you would require some spacing at the bottom of the tank to make room for the sensor.
Will this fit bottom of tank without using spacer on base ring? Mopeka Products Propane Tank Gas Level Indicator
Old sensor was too thick to fit without spacers
